In 2018, Matthew Keeley and Allen Foust founded DevilDec with a vision to create a premier cybersecurity club at Arizona State University. Their dedication and expertise quickly propelled DevilDec to the forefront of the pentesting world. The club achieved the prestigious rank of the best university in the world on Hack The Box, the largest pentest training platform globally. Our team didn't stop there; we also won Boeing's Drone Defense Competition and consistently placed in the top three at the WRCCDC competition. From an initial group of two, we grew our membership to an impressive 1,400 members in just under four years. We hosted esteemed guest speakers from leading companies like Honeywell, Bishop Fox, and Google, transforming the ASU cybersecurity club into a recruitment powerhouse for top-tier pentesters.
Building on the success of Devilsec, Matthew Keeley took his expertise to Bishop Fox, where he worked as a Senior Security Consultant for three years, providing security consulting to the Fortune 100 companies. In 2022, leveraging his extensive experience and the knowledge gained from training with some of the world's best pentesters, Matthew founded ProDefense, a cybersecurity research and pentesting company. In its infancy, ProDefense identified over 20 CVEs and delivered zero-day vulnerabilities to Fortune 500 companies and government entities. Today, our team actively participates in the WRCCDC red team and engages in various cutting-edge security research projects. ProDefense continues to uphold the legacy of excellence started at DevilSec, offering unparalleled support to organizations in fortifying their security postures.
